40 Cell Monolith
150x150x300-2.9/70 (40 x 40 cells)
The 40 cell monolith was the first monolith used in a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer in 1988. Since that period this structure is the most widely used cell size in designs utilizing structured packing. The 40 cell has a good balance between pressure drop and thermal energy recovery making it suitable for a variety of applications. At present this cell geometry is available in all the standard materials.
