Wood Applications

Lexco Inc. has been an innovator in VOC abatement for wood applications since the year 2000. With our partner Ceram, we have developed specific cell sizes and materials to better withstand alkali attack in even the dirtiest applications. Our line of CR (Chemical Resistant) materials can extend life of media beds to exceed 5 years with little regular maintenance.

The use of specific cell structures can even extend media life over conventional cell sizes. Our 32 cell monolith has the ideal performance to replace older random packed designs. Monoliths yield lower pressure drop and higher thermal efficiency while having very good plug resistance against pitch and fly ash.

In applications where chemical attack (alkalis) is not as severe, Lexco offers a high quality chemical porcelain (NT Honeycomb) suitable for most MDF, plywood, wood biofuels (pellets), siding, flooring, particle board and press operations. The NT material is also suitable in OSB applications with new generation high-functioning WESP’s.
